Wednesday Night Live

2015 WNL crafts

FIRST PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH IN MEDFORD HAS AN ACTIVE, EXCITING MID-WEEK CHILDREN’S MINISTRY — WEDNESDAY NIGHT LIVE OR WNL!

Annually the First Presbyterian Church of Medford offers a faith-based program on Wednesdays for youth ages 5 through teens. It begins in September and continues into May. Transportation, dinner, & craft materials are provided.

• The program is called WNL (Wednesday Night Live).
• At 4:30 pm the young people gather and the sessions begin.
• 6:00 pm dinner is served. Family members are welcome to join.
• WNL is dismissed at 7:30 pm when the craft session is completed.
• Additionally, several outing are planned through out the year.
• To participate we request a registration form be completed.

If your child would like transportation please telephoneJosie Metz (c 541-301-1417) or the church office (541-779-1711). would be helpful if you could notify staff on Tuesday if you would like transportation on Wednesday. Any questions regarding the program please contact Josie Metz, or Pastor Murray Richmond.

A typical schedule:
4:30 – 6 p.m.: Snack and table preparation, games and music (singing), Bible study, skit and play practice
6 p.m. : Dinner – served family style
6:45 – 7:30 p.m.: Games and music lessons (instrumental), Crafts

All children ages 5 through teens are welcome. Wednesday Night Live is for any child who
would like to attend; church membership is not a requirement! Your child will have the opportunity to participate in one Sunday service a month:  presenting skits, lighting the candles, helping usher, and singing.

Please Note: We do not meet the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, the last two weeks of December, or the Wednesday of Holy Week.
